Making the Mojo happen
Where we've been- where we're going
The Mojo Combo is a Blues-based band that has been entertaining the Central Coast of California since 2011. In the early days of the band we recorded a number of original tunes and won 2 New Times Music Awards. We have opened SLO Blues Society shows, and participated in 3 International Blues Competitions.
The band plays many Wineries, Clubs, Festivals and Community Concert events around the Central Coast. We are known for hosting Blues Jams in the area, and love to play private parties and events!
While we remain true to our Blues roots, we have branched out to incorporate more vintage Soul, R&B and Rock flavors for our musical palette. We look forward to bringing you musical motivation on the dance floor and in your ears!
Please check out our Video Demo and Show Calendar for upcoming events.

The "Hollywoods" performed with many famous acts- 3 Dog Night, The Guess Who, Tommy James & The Shondells, Johnny Rivers, Herman's Hermits, Wolfman Jack and many more. Dudley was inducted to the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall Of Fame, with The Rockin' Hollywoods in 2008 and Teen King and the Princes in 2023.
He is also a veteran Luthier and patented Guitar Designer, and has worked with many of the world's finest musicians at Knut-Koupee' Music in Mpls, MN- Valley Arts Guitar in Studio City, CA -and Ernie Ball/Music Man in San Luis Obispo, CA.
An original member of The Mojo Combo and impassioned Guitarist, Dudley has the touch, the tone, and soul to the bone!
Debra Windsong
Blues Harp- Vocals and Percussion
Debra has been playing harmonica up and down the coast of California for 30+ years. Her style has some of the grit from her east coast birthplace, the Bronx, NY. But it wasn’t until she arrived in California and went to an intimate concert by two older black men, Cephas & Wiggins, a blues guitarist and a harmonica player, that she got hooked on the idea of playing the blues on harmonica. From there she grew to tackle the diversity and challenge of playing a variety of genres on harmonica. This has led her to sit in, or be a member of, many different types of bands, some of them famous musicians such as Bo Diddley, Eric Burdon from the Animals, Robby Krieger from the Doors and Michael Franti.
Debra is a passionate and soulful player. Her ability to keep the beat with shakers while simultaneously playing the harmonica and singing lead or back-up vocals, makes her a valuable addition to any group of seasoned players.
Rick Beaumont
Keyboards and Vocal
Rick Beaumont began learning Piano at age 6, taking 8 years of private lessons in the traditional and classical studies. He studied music as his Minor while at Cal State University at Fullerton, and followed that with 2 years playing with the Orange Coast College Jazz Band. He started playing professionally in 1974, and moved to the Central Coast in 1981, where he played only part-time in local bands for several years. Here, in San Luis Obispo County, Rick has played with, and recorded CDs with several well-known artists: Merrell Fankhauser with Louie Ortega, Burnin' James Scoolis, Robi Duganne and the Narrow Bridge Band, Casey Biggs and the Paso Wine Man Band, and Denis Degher (Sleepy Guitar Johnson) with vocalist Joy Bonner.
